Fixed term post onGrade 5: £28,759 – £33,966 per annum

Applications are invited for a Health Economics and Policy Evaluation Group Administrator to work with a team led by Prof. Stavros Petrou to help the group run smoothly.

The successful applicant will help with all administrative elements of the team’s work, including managing our project budgets and reports to funders; supporting information governance activities; preparing summary reports of applications and their progress; arranging meetings and preparing reading material and minutes; and helping us with our teaching delivery.

Responsibilities will include: coordination of the diaries of 2-3 senior members of the group, acting as the first point of contact for visitors and deal with the group’s correspondence,  organise research / governance meetings and take meeting minutes, assist in the preparation and submission of grant applications, making travel arrangements for UK and international travel, providing administrative oversight on expense claims and travel, and providing administrative support for the group’s teaching activities.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience of providing administrative support, excellent communication skills as well as excellent computer skills. The appointee will also have a high standard of numeracy to be able to manage finances, attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

 You will be based in the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, Radcliffe Primary Care Building, Woodstock Road, Oxford, OX2 6GG as your normal place of work.

The position is funded for two years in the first instance.
