Job Description:Location: We operate a flexible, hybrid working environment with the candidate required to travel to a local Arqiva office up to twice a week (Crawley Court Winchester, London, Huddersfield)We offer

Role Purpose:
To lead and drive H&S specific improvement projects that drive continual improvement in H&S across the business.Key Accountabilities:
- Work with the Head of H&S to design and implement ongoing strategic H&S projects that drive continual improvement and reduce risk.
- In collaboration with the Safety, Strategy & Improvement Specialist, Safety Technician and Safety Business Partners, identify trends and areas that require strategic improvements.
- Work in a project manager capacity to create, lead and implement key strategic projects that improve safety within Arqiva, building comprehensive project plans with key milestones agreed.
- Foster an approach that engages and truly embeds improvements with full business support and ownership and ensuring effective timing to enable successful delivery.
- Ensure accountability is held in the wider business and with required contractors
- Ensure agreed project deadlines are met and set clear KPIs to monitor and manage progress
- Implement a clear reporting structure to keep key stakeholders updated.
- Ensure that work is prioritised and projects with the greatest impact are prioritised
- Ensure end to end approach so improvements don’t have unforeseen negative impacts.
- Implement post project reviews to identify if the project has created the intended benefit and identify lessons learned for continual improvement
Desired professional / academic / technical knowledge & experience:
- Experience of managing portfolios of H&S initiatives across business units.
- Experience of defining and implementing H&S framework models across cross-functional organisations
- Preferably a Bachelors in an Engineering discipline / HND or equivalent or relevant experience
Essential role delivery experience required:
- Some experience of working in a service desk environment
- Proven track record of managing administration
Desired role delivery experience:
- Grad member IOSH
- NEBOSH General Certificate
- Proficient in office applications such as word and excel
Other
- Driving Licence – essential
- Additional Security Clearance(s) – required
- Subject to undertakings
