PE Global are currently recruiting for a Electrical Lead for a contractor developing state of the art data centre in Finland.DescriptionThe client specialises in providing turnkey data centre solutions, providing services from design, through to construction across the full range of civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical services as well as commissioning.We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking a talented and experienced Electrical Lead to join our team in Helsinki, FinlandResponsibilities
- Lead a team of Electrical Engineers
- Proposing suitable changes to design to improve cost efficiency, ease construction programme, and to enhance specification and quality completion
- Display commercial astuteness
- Monitor construction, regarding quality of workmanship and materials
- Coordinate and liaise with contracts manager, site engineers and other discipline leads to ensure that all subcontractors and site personnel have timely and accurate information
- Check and ensure understanding of drawings and specifications. Ensure that any errors/omissions are formally communicated to the design team in a timely manner
- Establish project resource requirements and lead and motivate the project team
- Oversee highest quality of health and safety
Requirements
- Bachelors’ degree in Engineering or relevant area
- Strong knowledge of procurement
- Experience in scheduling, programming, and sequencing
- Experience in effectively leading MEP teams is essential
- Experience in the delivery in Data Centre MEP projects
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
