Would you like to play a key role in supporting the translation of our world leading, interdisciplinary healthcare research into real world technological solutions to prevent illness and improve patient care? The University of Nottingham is keen to recruit an enthusiastic and diligent person to support the work of the Centre for Healthcare Technologies, a multi-disciplinary partnership with Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.  

The successful candidate will have the necessary skills to develop the communications, events and partnership building activities that will help us to grow the impact and reputation of our research and deliver genuine benefits to human health. 

Working with colleagues across the university, the Healthcare Technologies Knowledge Exchange and Impact Manager will play a key role in supporting healthcare technologies related activities at the University of Nottingham. The role holder will liaise with existing internal and external stakeholders to better understand the needs of these groups and use this to design and deliver high quality and valued projects and events which support the development, translation and adoption of new healthcare technologies and encourage collaborations between researchers across the University, industry, clinicians and clinical academics within NHS trusts and other key stakeholders.

In addition, the role holder will be responsible for the design and delivery of communications to maximise awareness of capabilities, facilities and services relating to Healthcare Technologies at the University of Nottingham as well as sharing relevant news and success stories.

Key skills we are looking for include proven interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build collaborative relationships, as well as excellent organisational skills and a high level of self-motivation.

The post is offered on a fixed term contract for 2 years. Hours of work are full time (36.25 hours per week). Job share arrangements may be considered.
