Start Date: As soon as possibleWe are seeking a passionate and dedicated History Teacher to join a dynamic and forward-thinking independent school based in Northampton. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual who is committed to inspiring students and fostering a love for history.Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality history lessons across KS3 to KS5.
  • Engage and inspire students, encouraging their curiosity and critical thinking skills.
  • Contribute to the development and enrichment of the history curriculum.
  • Support the academic, pastoral, and personal development of students.
  • Participate in extra-curricular activities and school events as required.

Essential Criteria:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in History or a related subject.
  • Previous teaching experience.
  • Passion for history and education, with a commitment to student success.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience teaching A-Level History.
  • Experience with exam board specifications and assessment methods.
  • Ability to contribute to wider school activities and the school community.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
