The HR Advisor will support the Human Resources department by delivering expert advice, guidance, and support to managers and employees within the industrial and manufacturing sector. This role is based in Blackburn and requires a proactive individual who can drive HR initiatives and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

  • Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers and employees on various employment matters.
  • Monitor and manage employee relations, including handling grievances and disciplinary procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with employment law and company policies across the organisation.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and manage data in line with GDPR requirements.
  • Contribute to performance management processes, including appraisals and development plans.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives that align with business goals.

  • Experience in a Human Resources role, ideally within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
  • Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices and case management (end-to-end)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in managing sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality.
  • The ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in managing employee relations and HR processes.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
