Your role

The HR Business Partner Global Functions (m/f/d) supports the Global HR Business Partner Scent & Care in the implementation of the segment’s HR strategy by acting as the main point of contact for the executive leadership of the assigned business functions operating globally within the segment and/or a division. This includes both dedicated support to core HR processes and strategic business partnering to strengthen the new HR target operating model. As such, you will partner with other HR functions to facilitate the implementation of organizational development initiatives, support globally led M&A integrations and work closely with the Centers of Excellence to ensure the delivery of global programs and initiatives at segment and divisional level.

Strategy & Partnering

  • Work closely with global leaders of assigned global functions to understand strategic goals and objectives at a global level ensuring harmonized HR processes are implemented across regions and business organizations
  • Contribute to the development and ensure implementation of a global HR strategy within the assigned Global Functions in close connection with the Global HR Business Partner, owning core strategic HR topics such as strategic workforce planning, HR analytics, organizational design and M&A activities
  • Support business and HR leadership on organizational design programs, greenfield/brownfield CAPEX initiatives and M&A related activities at global level with HR-related guidance and insights
  • Drive cross-fertilization of divisional HR fostering best practices, common capability building, harmonization on HR-related topics

Planning & Analytics

  • Own and drive strategic workforce planning at the global level following global guidelines and contributing to an integrated approach that ensures transparency and efficiency in delivering the right people, with the right skills, at the right place, in the right time
  • Ensure accuracy of core HR data and headcount reporting at the global level in collaboration with the CoE HR Information Systems & Analytics and HR Operations
  • Elaborate global functions HR analytics in collaboration with CoE HR Information Systems & Analytics to drive business insights and actionable decision making
  • Communicate and facilitate the cascading of strategic HR decisions and information, such as structural changes, from the global to the regional level to ensure implementation

Talent Management

  • Work in collaboration with CoE Talent Management and the HR Business Partner community to contribute to the development, continuous improvement and implementation of Talent Management practices or programs in areas such as Performance Management, Leadership and Employee Development, Succession Planning, Diversity & Inclusion Management, or Change Management

Talent Acquisition

  • Consult with CoE Talent Acquisition on workforce planning to ensure appropriate resource allocation that serves to address the recruitment demand of the assigned function or to support strategic growth/M&A projects
  • Provide the assigned Talent Acquisition Partner with strategic HR input to inform a targeted recruitment strategy, participate in recruitment processes for final round interviews for key positions, and contribute to the decision making and/or offer construction process if required

Compensation & Benefits

  • Provide input to the total compensation strategy for the global functions as determined by the CoE Compensation & Benefits
  • Support the annual merit process and contribute to the calibration of salary increases or adjustments to the compensation strategy at segment or divisional level as required

About you

  • University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Development, or a related discipline
  • At least 10 years of progressive work experience in Human Resources with at least 5 years at the Senior HR Business Partner level leading local and/or regional HR strategies in a multinational company
  • Excellent presentation and influencing skills and demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex information at the executive level
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in analyzing HR data to gain insights on trends and areas for improvement to make reasoned, strategic decisions
  • Foster ownership of HR data sources at the regional level and a strong sense of data integrity that enable the development of a data-driven HR organization
  • Inspirational leadership skills with a proven track record of driving a high-performance culture and role modelling excellent behaviors
  • Strong change management expertise and documented experience in successfully implementing and managing organizational change initiatives
  • Stress resistance and the ability to maintain clarity of thought in times of uncertainty, manage emotions effectively and make sound decisions in difficult circumstances
  • Proven ability to collaborate and work effectively in cross-functional teams and at the interface to the business
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong business relationships with internal and external stakeholders at the executive level
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking to align HR tactics with overall business objectives
  • Cultural sensitivity and ability to work effectively in a diverse, multinational environment
  • Strong solution-orientation with the ability to address and resolve workplace conflict professionally and effectively
  • Fluency in English is required; working knowledge of another company language is an asset
