Job Description

Data Driven HR topic in Bosch is aiming to enhance the future related digital skills, develop a strong digital network and enable data driven mindset. Within different projects under the umbrella of Data Driven HR topic, we implement data driven analysis and steering possibilities for different HR processes. In our team, we take the responsibility of Data Science projects and topics from various number of HR teams all around the world and deliver the outcome to help the HR professional in their decision-making processes.

Our team is looking for a Data Scientist to join our dynamic and multicultural Global Business Services organization in Lisbon, assuming the following responsibilities:

 

Responsibilities:

• Utilize statistical methodologies to analyze HR data for the purpose of attracting, hiring, developing, and retaining qualified talent.
• Prepare and deliver data-driven presentations with clear visualizations and actionable insights relevant to HR processes.
• Interpret statistical models related to hiring, productivity, engagement, and attrition, applying insights to enhance overall HR strategies.
• Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to understand people-related business problems, gathering and analyzing relevant data to provide valuable insights.
• Develop and implement HR metrics based on data analysis, contributing to the continuous improvement of HR processes.
• Conduct statistical analysis to support decision-making within the HR function.
• Apply predictive modeling techniques to optimize HR processes and enhance the overall employee experience.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as computer science, information systems, or a related discipline.
• Prior experience in human resources processes or people analytics is highly desirable.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools, particularly Power BI.
• Experience with database management systems, including Microsoft SQL Server.
• Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts, including regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests, and their proper usage.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
• Analytical mindset with a strong business acumen.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen ability to analyze complex data sets.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills to effectively convey insights and recommendations.
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken) at a C1 level; proficiency in German would be an asset.
