Contract: PermanentVANRATH is exclusively partnering with a leading all Ireland business, to appoint a new HR & HSQE Manager.The RoleThe company in question has grown considerably over the last number of years and has employees and customers (public and private sector) across both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.This role covers HSQE & HR (Health & Safety, Quality, Environment and Human Resources) although the company is willing to train a strong HR generalist on HSQE and put the successful candidate through NEBOSH.ResponsibilitiesHR

  • Manage the recruitment process by posting job adverts, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, and issuing job offers and contracts.
  • Coordinate the onboarding process by creating new employee records, conducting company inductions, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed including right to work checks.
  • Be the first point of contact for managers and employees for queries.
  • Advise and assist with disciplinary and grievance cases as needed.
  • Administration of HR policies and procedures, including review and update as necessary.

HSQE

  • Maintain health, safety, quality and environmental policies and procedures
  • Train and educate employees on safety protocols and procedures.
  • Maintain a strong safety culture within the organisation.
  • Ensure compliance with local employment regulations.
  • Manage employee training including ongoing operational training requirements, induction training plans and mandatory training.
  • Monitor compliance with HSQE policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and make

  • Degree in HRM or related subject and / or CIPD qualified (minimum of Level 5)
  • 3 years’ experience in a generalist role
  • Knowledge of NI and ROI legislation
