Job DescriptionHuman Resource Manager Opportunity – Dublin NorthThis is a new and exciting opportunity for HR Manager to join one of Ireland’s finest healthcare groups poised for further expansion.The Human Resource Manager will be responsible for managing and providing support in the various human resource functions, which include retention, performance management, training and development, and developing and growing a strong supportive and respectful culture amongst peers, with the overall aim to maintain and enhance staff morale.The successful HR Manager will have the opportunity to participate in building a dedicated Healthcare Team resulting in the provision of excellent standards of care in the healthcare sector.On OfferAn attractive remuneration package , titrated in accordance with the candidate’s qualifications and experience, combined with the opportunity for further career enhancement.Responsibilities:Provide HR support, advice and assistance to Managers and staff.
Involved in staff retention.
Recommend, design and implement training and learning development programmes and identify training needs and opportunities.
Make business and HR recommendations to Directors, and advise on new approaches to HR implementation.
Facilitate staff meetings across all sites..
To be involved in staff performance appraisals.
Manage staff reviews and disciplinary procedures.
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, and ensure effective compliance.
Provide administration support in the form of letter, reports and presentations.
Keep accurate and quality personnel files and training records.
To be familiar with all relevant employment legislation, and other such legislation governing the effective running of all healthcare facilities and to have a good working knowledge of policies and procedures within the Group.
Requirements and skills:Relevant third level, HR qualification.
3 years+ experience in a human resources role, ideally within a healthcare setting.
Exceptional communication, interpersonal and people management skills.
Strong influencing and negotiating skills.
Ability to analyse, interpret and explain legislation regulating employment.
Ability to build relationships across all levels of the organisation.
Knowledge of HIQA Standards.
Own transport desirable, ability to travel between all sites.
