HR Specialist (Part-Time)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR professional to oversea all HR practices and policies for French business unit. As a HR Specialist you will be a true partner to the business unit, providing sound HR expertise and guidance to employees and management. You’ll also play an important role in driving the global people plan/initiatives throughout your local area. This a standalone role in France however, you will be part of a global HR organization and play a key role in French leadership team. 

What will you be doing?

  • Contributes to the implementation of HR policies and processes in own area(s) of expertise (e.g. performance management, rewards, talent management).
  • Contributes to the implementation of group HR policies to local/country circumstances and processes in line with the group HR strategy.
  • Provides managers with advice and recommendations for actions on issues related to own field of HR expertise and support managers in people-related decision making. Works as a liaison between business and HR.
  • Coordinates and manages all payroll processing activities with the external provider and manage personnel administration.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
  • Nurture a positive working environment.
  • Maintain pay plan and benefits program.
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
  • Assist the unit manager with the co-operation with the trade union.
  • Ensure compliance with current legislation, agreements and management rules (working hours, compensation, etc.).

What will you need?

  • Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or HR all related field.
  • Proven working experience as HR Manager or other HR Executive.
  • Proven experience in dealing with Payroll
  • People-oriented and results-driven.
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Fluent English.
