Job PurposeWith a new HR Operating Model a new HR Business Partnering approach is required in order to support the scalability of business and organizational growth plans in Iberia and Madrid site. Focus is on a consistent, standardized, and efficient HR Delivery across all moments that matter. The role of the Global HR Business Partner is to drive business performance through people. The HR Business Partner is an integral part of the Iberia HR Team and supposed to deliver the full spectrum of HR and leadership expertise to ensure effective and sustainable working relations and performance. Role will provide support on strategic and tactical consultation to the business and will be the main point of contact for our employees. The role will also play an instrumental role in driving HR Project Management for Iberia and Madrid site (cross legal entities), supporting the design and implementation of common updated processes ad policies.
HR Business Partner is reporting with a solid line to the Head of People & Culture Ibera, SHE and Site Manager Madrid.Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Understand business and people needs; articulate and translate business trends, needs and challenges and feedback to various stakeholders within and outside of the HR community
  • Act as a strategic partner, coach, mentor and advisor to our business leaders to enable them to deliver performance through their people in line with Straumann Group strategy, purpose, mindset and core beliefs
  • Take ownership in many key HR processes (e.g. budgeting, workforce planning, performance management, engagement, onboarding coordination, etc.)
  • Ensure implementation of Global HR Solutions, Initiatives & Processes within a matrix collaboration and evaluate, feedback success of it, as well making sure in collaboration with HR Shared Services & HRBP Global Service Organization, we translate those into local processes and policies across legal entities in Spain.
  • Lead the implementation and projects to further improvement of HR processes supported by digital tools to develop the department towards a more self-service organization together and in collaboration with the rest of HR functions and roles.
  • Act as a Transformation and Change Agent and take a leading role in our Culture Journey to foster a high-performing and engaged workforce
  • Provide a highly responsive HR support to a fast paced global and agile business
  • Participate in global projects/initiatives/programs and work closely together with the Local and Regional HR Team
  • Drive and influence a positive employee (life) experience across all moments that matter by enabling the business leaders
  • Proactive and regular exchange with other HR Leaders including best practice sharing

Requirements needed:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience
  • 5+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner, ideally in local and global roles
  • Broad expertise in Human Resources with a track record in multinational business environment, including experience with Work Council relations.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships at all levels and become a trusted advisor to senior leadership
  • Widespread knowledge of coaching, leadership development and succession planning with demonstrated success in building talent pools and leadership pipelines
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and able to quickly adapt to change
  • Teamplayer with high level of integrity and commitment
  • Strategic thinking ability paired with a can-do mentality
  • Ability to exercise good judgment to make decisions without full clarity of all relevant facts in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in other areas of Business Management outside of HR and ideally in Sales & Marketing roles are a strong plus.
