Bonatti Group is one of the leading players in the energy sector. We are contractor specialized in the construction of oil and gas, water pipelines. We work in four continents with 10.000 employees all over the world. Bonatti Dutch Branch has been established in November 2023 and engages in the Porthos CO2 Project for the construction of a compression station to stock CO2 in an empty gas field in the North Sea. The project will last till April 2026, and it will involve approximately two hundred people. This project falls under a general strategy of environmental and climate change, which will lead the Port of Rotterdam to reach the Zero emission target.We are looking for a HSE by (Dutch) Law to join our team at Bonatti Spa Dutch Branchin Porthos Project at Rotterdam (The Netherlands).Job Description:The HSE by law will support the Project HSE Manager in the compliance requirements as perlocal HSE legislationDuties and Responsibilities:
- The HSE by law, is responsible for:
- Verifying compliance with local HSE legislation.
- Preparing a Compliance Assurance Plan
- Carry out the audit and inspections as per schedule contained in the Compliance Assurance Plan.
- Liaise with Regulatory Bodies as required.
- Act as interface with client for HSE related matter during preparation and for construction phase.
- Collaborate with the other internal functions for the identification of roles, tasks, and organizational responsibilities.
- Check company HSE Management System to verify compliance with local laws and regulation and Client requirements.
- Identify and analyze potential HSE requirements impacts on early works and construction phase.
- Verify what are the compulsory HSE courses to be admitted to the site.
- Analyze HSE training and training needs defined by the applicable legislative requirements and the internal procedures of the organization to ensure the necessary level of competence of all interested parties to carry out their activities correctly.
- Update on new requirements applicable in the HSE sector, identifies the resources necessary to oversee the process of updating legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Verify requirements for medical certificates (FTW Fitness to work).
- Outline safe operational procedures which identify and consider all relevant hazards.
- Advise on a range of specialist areas, e.g. Fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, safeguarding machinery, and occupational diseases.
Work Experience and education requirements:
- The Resource should preferably have internationally recognized qualification in HSE Management (BSC, NEBOSH or equivalent) or a Master in HSE and have an engineering background.
- Knowledge of the local(Dutch) legislation and relevant certificates as required by the Dutch law to comply with mandatory projects HSE requirements.
- The job holder should preferably have at least 5 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry.
Soft Skills and Competencies:
- Business English Language (B2 Level or equivalent) and fluent on local language.
- Familiarity with business computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
- Good verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Very good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to create a friendly working environment
Other requirements:A Dutch applicant should not live more then max 1 hour distance from the Site (Maasvlakte 2)and should be in possess of own transport?
