The Human Resources Administrator is a key contributor to the Human Resources program in Canada. The role focuses on providing administrative support for a variety HR programs as well as answering routine incoming inquiries from employees across Canada.Essential Functions

  • Track relevant human resources metrics and generate ad hoc reports.
  • Disseminate bi-weekly toolbox talks and track responses.
  • Collaborate on the maintenance of vendor accreditation platforms.
  • Ensure each location has adequate personal protective equipment on hand.
  • Enroll employees in training and professional development courses.
  • Deliver new hire onboarding and collect paperwork.
  • Assist with recruitment as needed.
  • Set up new hires in HRIS and maintain all employee digital data.
  • Answer routine employee questions.
  • Report injuries to relevant provincial workers compensation boards.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual workers compensation reports.
  • Update visual boards as necessary.
  • Collect and review safety inspection responses and highlight any potential concerns.
  • Collect and track annual performance reviews.
  • Maintain organization charts.
  • Collect and track policy acknowledgements as needed.
  • Collect and track work vehicle inspections sheets.
  • Collect and track workplace inspection sheets.

Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Able to communicate effectively and provide excellent internal customer service.
  • Able to work both independently and collaborate with others.
  • Proficient with MS Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Understanding of Human Resources best practices and employment standards.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who are fully bilingual (English/French).

Education, Training, Experience

  • 1-2 years of Human Resources experience.
  • Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • CHRP designation.
