TLC Santry are recruiting for a Human Recourses Administrator to join the team to guide and manage the provision of Human Resource services, policies, and programs for the company.This is a Monday to Friday role, reporting to the Director of Nursing with side reporting to the HR Manager.Responsibilities

  • Manage local recruitment in line with the DON on all recruitment needs within the centre.
  • Advertise all roles in a timely manner on all appropriate platforms.
  • Screen cover letters and CV’s in a timely manner and schedule interviews accordingly.
  • Assist management in the home with interviews and take notes where appropriate.
  • Liaise with the Group Recruitment Manager on reporting of overall vacancies and recruitment needs for the centre.
  • Ensure relevant reference and background checks are completed before any formal offers are made to perspective candidates.
  • Manage and coordinate on boarding and off boarding process
  • Issue and maintain all documentation to include employee starter packs in advance of new hires commencing
  • Ensure all employee files are set up and maintained
  • Ensure all new hires are set up on the Time & Attendance system and any other relevant systems required. Issue employees with relevant employee number.
  • Overall management of Time and Attendance to include but not limited to;
  • Input Rosters by COB each Friday
  • Complete daily checks on clocking anomalies
  • Update as required by Payroll and prepare payroll file
  • Update HR & training information for all employees
  • Ensure holiday management is recorded and managed through Timepoint
  • Ensure all trackers are maintained and updated on a monthly basis to include but not limited to;
  • Probation Review
  • Annual Appraisal Review
  • Maternity leave tracker
  • Long term absence tracker
  • Training tracker
  • Incident log
  • Co-ordinate and conduct staff training when required while also maintaining the relevant training records.
  • Co-ordinate and participation where required in disciplinary, performance management, grievances, medical capability, appraisals or dignity at work procedures in line with current legislation, best practice and the Company policies and procedures in a professional manner
  • Liaise closely with the Regional HR Manager on all employee relations.
  • Ensure a full understanding and compliance with all policies and procedures
  • Recognise tasks to be completed and do so thoroughly and professionally.
  • Maintain open communication in a friendly, approachable and pleasant manner with all residents, visitors and staff.
  • Ensure the privacy, dignity and confidentiality of all employees and residents.
  • Work co-operatively with other members of the multi-disciplinary team.
  • General admin and filing daily
  • Other duties which may be required from time to time.

Requirements:Must be a strong effective communicator. Excellent interpersonal, computer and communication skills. Ideally have previous HR experience. Familiar with time and attendance systems desirable, adaptable and efficient.
