In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide both leadership and support for a variety of Human Resources initiatives related to benefits, recruiting, data analytics, employee relations, compliance, and compensation. You will be responsible for building and maintaining effective working relationships throughout the company and with key external contacts.Our HR Team will tell you, joining Rho has been one of their best career moves in terms of contentment, financial rewards and career growth, which is why we have such stability in the group!Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic partner to the Europe leaders/staff including providing general consultation and coaching to managers and employees on a variety of HR-relates topics and issues
- Collaborate with business units according to operational and business development needs in Europe.
- Ensure that all applicable employment regulations are fulfilled within countries of operations.
- Conduct HR specific tasks and projects, including employee relations, new hire orientation, data analytics and offboarding procedures.
- Maintain familiarity with the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), assisting in keeping the HRIS database current.
- Work as a member of the global HR team to identify innovative programs and initiatives to meet company needs.
- Collaborate with other departments across the company to ensure efficient operations.
- Assist with compensation management and benefits administration based on specific country needs.
- Identify retention issues proactively and provide timely and proper solutions.
- Supervise Office Administrator in Latvia and Country Director in Lithuania.
- Interpret company policies and answers related questions.
- Prepare and manage non-employee agreements.
Qualifications
- University degree required along with 5 years of experience in Human Resources or an equivalent combination of relevant and preferred education and/or work experience; Human resources experience (ideally from a CRO) in multiple Eastern and Western European countries is required with the ability to understand European specific country regulations; HR certification is strongly preferred
- Previous work experience in a remote work environment and travel, as needed
- Occasional availability outside of normal business hours.
- Ability to analyze and work with a large amount of information and convey it in a concise manner to both employees and the company’s executive management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint is required; previous experience working in an HRIS
- Excellent team player by actively participating in team meetings, listening, and responding professionally and objectively to innovative ideas.
- Must be highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and be able to work under and adapt to tight deadlines and work in a rapidly changing and dynamic work environment.
- Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information.
- Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knows when to escalate issues to leadership.
- Identifies opportunities and suggests improvements within scope of work and associated processes.
- Proficiency with the English language
