DescriptionKey Responsibilities

  • Solution Development: Design, implement, and enhance solutions leveraging IBM Sterling technologies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring seamless alignment with business goals.
  • EDI Expertise: Develop and maintain EDI maps, business processes, and trading partner setups, adhering to industry standards.
  • Production Support: Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues related to IBM Sterling applications, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Technical Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing Sterling solutions while identifying opportunities for optimization.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for solutions, processes, and configurations.
  • Code Review: Participate in code reviews, ensuring compliance with best practices and coding standards.
  • Performance Optimization: Conduct performance tuning and optimization to enhance the efficiency of Sterling applications.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in IBM Sterling and related technologies, applying insights to deliver innovative solutions.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, IBM Sterling File Gateway, and IBM Sterling Secure Proxy.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in EDI standards (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and protocols (e.g., AS2, SFTP, FTP).
  • Strong scripting knowledge (e.g., JavaScript, Groovy) and SQL expertise.
  • Experience with XML, XSLT, and data transformation technologies.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Bonus Points: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
