The Installation Survey Engineer is involved in the engineering survey works relevant to submarine cables. Availability to follow the execution of the survey activity on site both onshore and offshore with frequent business trips (60/70%).Your contribution to Prysmian’s Success:Project phase: engineering and operations of marine geophysical and geotechnical survey.Detailed design of the marine geophysical and geotechnical survey project scope of work.Preparation of the technical specifications for the survey Request for Quotation, evaluation of survey subcontractors’ tenders, selection of the most viable technically and commercially convenient solution.Managing of the survey subcontractor during the whole survey life-span, monitoring quality, costs and progress: engineering and operations procedure and mobilization plan, field works also with direct on-site supervision as required including assessment of survey data and route engineering, final reporting and charting.Cable route design and support to the detailed engineering of cable installation and protection.Survey documentation and data review and management for delivery to the Employer.Survey documentation and data review and management for hand-over to Installation Operation.Survey project close-out and Lessons Learned.Feedback on final actual survey costs.Keeping survey relevant know-how updated (equipment, software, etc.).You are the right fit if you have/are:Fluent in EnglishA master’s degree in Geology/Geophysics, or similar EngineeringAvailability to follow the execution of the survey activity on site both onshore and offshore with frequent business trips (60/70%).
