At Coty we are looking for an ambitious Finance Intern who wants to develop skills in the finance key processes of multinational company such as closing, forecasting, and analysis. 

RESPONSIBILITIES
 

As a Finance Intern you will be working in the finance team of EDM (Europe Distributors Market) & Benelux which consists of people with direct management of a Finance manager. You will collaborate closely with various cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain. Our entire team is based at Coty’s Headquarters in Amsterdam-Zuid, the Netherlands. 

We need you to support the Business Unit (BU) weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual financial plan development, budgeting process, variances analysis, management information process flow, and special projects.  

The scope covers both Consumer Beauty and Luxury businesses:

-Support marketing business team with day-to-day finance activities and budget tracking

-Deliver month-end close activities (JE preparation and posting)

-Support preparation & submission of financial forecasts into reporting tools

-Lead initiatives to harmonize and strengthen financial dashboards

-Oversee CAPEX Management controlling process and animate the merchandising team

-Support on SOX compliance tasks to ensure full compliance with U.S. GAAP; support reviews and analysis for corporate reporting purposes

-Participate in special projects as needed (business integration, system implementations, global harmonization and standardization, other process improvements)
