About the Role: 

Are you ready to dive into the dynamic world of media sales in a very international environment? As an intern with our Media Sales team, you’ll gain hands-on experience in the advertising media industry and contribute to critical tasks that drive our sales’ team’s success.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

Pre Sale insights: 

  • Competitor Tracking: keep a pulse on advertising spends by monitoring our competitors’ activities across print and digital 
  • Prospecting: identify key events across Europe, creating a prospecting list for our EMEA sales team. Hunt for new business opportunities identifying key contacts at non endemic categories (auction houses, business schools…)
  • Agency Collaboration: Update agencies’ competitive decks and assist with their pre-sale templates.
  • Billing and Administration: handle account creation, invoices, and other administrative tasks.
  • Clients meetings: support the sales team preparing key client meetings: track their ads in the competition, historical spends in the franchise year over year, decks to present
  • Luxury & Lifestyle Quarterly Newsletter: coordinate our category’s newsletter, curating content that resonates with our audience.

Post-Sale Excellence:

  • Client Communication: Send print voucher copies and e-tears to clients, ensuring seamless post-sale support.
  • WSJ. Magazine Coordination: Maintain our mailout sheet and liaise with La Poste to deliver our magazine to clients.
  • Quality Assurance: Address any client concerns about printing quality by collaborating with our Print Ad Operations team.

Office Organization:

  • Paris Office Management: Organize newspapers, including WSJ Magazine, to keep our workspace efficient. Mail postage (management of mail shipping and sending DHL)
  • Sales Leadership Support: Assist in preparing monthly sales meetings by updating numbers and coordinating agendas.
  • PR Event Coordination: Manage invitations for high-profile events.

You Have: 

Intermediate level in written and spoken French and English 

  • 3/4 years university or business schools 
  • Knowledge of Google and Microsoft productivity applications 
  • Adept at Organizational skills and detailed oriented 
  • Interest in Sales and Publishing environment
