We know fun, and we always have a team event on our calendars, so are you ready to join us?Responsibilities |Internal Audit and Risk Assessment
- Propose Audit Plan
- Conduct independent and objective audits of financial and operational processes.
- Assess the adequacy of internal controls and risk management strategies.
- Identify and evaluate areas of risk, including fraud risks, operational risks, and compliance risks.
Audit Planning & Execution
- Develop detailed audit plans in accordance with departmental guidelines and annual audit strategy.
- Perform risk-based audits and audits of specific functional areas such as finance, procurement, operations, and IT.
- Gather and analyze audit evidence through interviews, observations, document reviews, and data analysis.
Compliance and Regulatory Oversight
- Supervise Corporate Defense Penal Plan and Risk Control matrix
- Participate as a member of UKIO’s Compliance Committee
- Ensure the organization adherence to local regulations, as well as internal policies.
- Propose new operational policies and procedures and review existing ones.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare clear and concise audit reports outlining findings, risks, and recommendations for corrective actions.
- Follow up on audit findings to ensure implementation of corrective actions.
Continuous Improvement
- Recommend improvements to internal controls, processes, and procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.
- Provide advisory services to management to mitigate risks and improve business operations.
Training
- Design Annual Training Plans
- Provide training to staff on internal controls and best practices related to risk management and compliance.
About you |
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in internal auditing, accounting, or a related field.
- Experience in financial audits, operational audits, or risk management is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of audit software, accounting systems, and data analysis tools.
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards, principles, and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail with the ability to identify key risks and control weaknesses.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of industry regulations, compliance standards, and corporate governance practices.
