About The Role
Falmouth Exeter Plus is the service delivery partner of Falmouth University and the University of Exeter. We provide outstanding services and facilities for our diverse community of staff, students, and researchers, across our shared Cornwall campuses, with the interests of students and staff at the heart of everything we do.
To develop our staff engagement and ensure our stakeholders are informed about our work, we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and self-motivated Internal Communications Officer. The post has exciting opportunities to develop and implement an internal communication and engagement strategy, provide expert communications advice, and deliver a programme of professional and proactive internal employee communications for FX Plus. Our unique position, working with two Universities, guarantees a varied and exciting role, with opportunities to get involved in a wide range of projects.
About You
The successful candidate will be educated to degree or equivalent level and bring a good knowledge of internal communication approaches, including current best practices. You will be confident and proactive, and bring excellent organisation, teamwork, and people skills. You will have experience of working within a busy communication environment, be widely IT literate and have experience of planning and delivering communication campaigns. Our ideal candidate would demonstrate strong self-awareness and the ability to build effective and positive relationships, have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail and the ability to multitask, prioritise and meet deadlines whilst working under pressure.

This post is offered on a 37.5 hour a week, full time, permanent contract working across Monday-Friday. The role holder will work on a hybrid basis, with some homeworking and some time each week working from a campus base.
