Are you interested in working for a top-ranked Management School? We are seeking applications from highly motivated individuals to play a key role as part of our marketing team, leading on supporting internal communications to staff and students. You will lead the development and delivery of the School’s internal communication plans, working across teams within the School. You will identify issues/stories of relevance for wider circulation and write engaging and impactful communications, as well as using other media, for example face-to-face presentations. You will maintain and develop digital internal communication channels (including email and Google sites). Through internal comms channels, you will ensure that staff are kept up to date on issues, including for example, decisions of the School Executive Board. As the owner of the Staff Portal, you will collaborate closely with professional services team editors to ensure content is updated and accurate. You will also provide advice and mentorship to teams and staff as required, to support other mass communications, for example, to students.

You will be educated to ‘A’ level standard (or equivalent work experience/ qualifications) and have experience of being proactive in planning and producing communications for a variety of audiences using a range of different digital media.  With excellent written and in-person communications skills, you will be able to convey compelling messages in a clear and inspiring way.

You will work as part our marketing team who provide marketing support for our specialist programmes as well as supporting our brand and promoting our research and impact activities. The team works alongside our wider professional services team of 80 staff, supporting activities such as data and accreditation, finance and operations, employability, external relations and student support. There are opportunities to explore other areas of the professional services, and to progress within the School and University.
