We are looking to appoint an International Recruitment Officer to join our hugely successful Global Student Recruitment Team and contribute to our efforts in attracting international students to the University of Hull. Our team has celebrated success in increasing student enrolments and enhancing the global brand presence of the University and our region – so it’s an exciting time to be joining us.

We are searching for an enthusiastic team player with the ability to manage diverse workloads, and we welcome applications from candidates with a desire to join a cohesive team of colleagues who enjoy fostering a positive and uplifting environment, providing support for one another. Aptitude in IT (including the Microsoft Office suite) and data analysis, plus strong influencing skills and the ability to use initiative, are essential.

Joining our team would involve supporting one or more specific international student recruitment project, such as digital marketing and social media, working with agents and partner institutions (located both in the UK and overseas), and supporting our customer relationship management. Experience of digital and direct marketing, communications or public engagement would be useful. A passion for all things international is important to us. An understanding of Higher Education and university working environments would also be helpful.

It is important that applicants demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively, and with diplomacy and excellent cultural awareness, both with internal and global contacts.
