With our pioneering hybrid rocket engine, we’re introducing a new era of aerospace capabilities—more efficient, cost-effective, safer, and sustainable.By stepping into HyPrSpace, you’re not just taking on a role; you’re embracing a mission where your expertise, creativity, and determination unlock unprecedented realms of possibilities. Your work will directly contribute to enhance the versatility and applicability of our systems.At HyPrSpace, we value the contribution of our interns and offer them full integration into our teams !In 2024, we are proud that 80% of our interns ended with a permanent contract, the others having chosen to continue their PhD studies or to embark on an entrepreneurial adventure by themselves!Overview:
Joining us on this internship, you will contribute to 3 main parts:Mechanical design of the TVC test bench:
- Design and build a test bench representative of the nozzle’s behavior toevaluate the performance of the thrust vector control system
- Integrate actuators, power electronics, and sensors to ensure proper system
functionalityElectronic design, programming, and tuning:
- Develop the power electronics part of the test bench, including theintegration of actuators and drivers
- Program test sequences to simulate various operational scenarios
- Fine-tune control loops to ensure the system’s accuracy and stability
- Automate the testing process
Creation of a MATLAB model:
- Simultaneously, create a MATLAB model to simulate the behavior of the
TVC test bench. This model will enable integration of the “TVC” component
into broader simulationsYour profile !To be successfull in this interniship, we’re looking for a student with :
- Knowledge of space propulsion principles and thrust vector control
- Experience in mechanical design, electronics, and programming (Python
and C++)
