Your work will directly contribute to enhance the versatility and applicability of our systems.At HyPrSpace, we value the contribution of our interns and offer them full integration into our teams !In 2024, we are proud that 80% of our interns ended with a permanent contract, the others having chosen to continue their PhD studies or to embark on an entrepreneurial adventure by themselves!For this internship, you will join the “Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC)” team, responsible for studying and developing algorithms related to these functions.Objective of the Internship:
Develop navigation algorithms based on various sensors, nd more specifically the 2 following parts :-Improvement of the Kalman Filter:

• Evaluate the benefits of adding specific sensors
• Assess the relevance of increasing the state vector
• Develop an unscented Kalman filter and compare it to the existing filter
• Test the robustness of the algorithms in case of equipment failure

-Development of an alignment algorithm:

• Design a calibration strategy for the IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit)
• Integrate this strategy into the embedded code

Expected Skills:

• Knowledge of navigation principles and Kalman filters
• Understanding of the aerospace field and its challenges
• Proficiency in MATLAB for modeling and simulation
• Skills in C/C++ for embedded code development

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to share your ideas and propose innovative topics that align with the company’s forward-thinking vision.Profile Sought:
Currently in the final year of an engineering program or equivalent, specializing in control systems, signal processing, robotics, or applied mathematics.
