Primary mission

Global Enterprise Management (GEM) is a new 4 years-old unit, reporting directly to the CEO office of the AXA Group. Fully focused on AXA most valued Global Business Partners, its mission is to build, expand and deliver revenue growth, high retention, and client advocacy in the Business-to-Business (B2B) space.

This includes the development of B2B2Business, B2B2Customer, B2B2Employee across all AXA assets and capabilities. The operating model relies on a single point of contact per account leveraging central, regional, and local teams in a unified way and collaborating with all entities to diversify and deepen our GEMs portfolio for One AXA.

Within GEM, the Business Analyst Intern will support the Head of Business Performance & Sales enablement on 3 major dimensions:

  • Monitor our commercial performance as ONE AXA 
  • Build 360° view of the business relationship AXA has with its key strategic Partners 
  • Share key business insights to AXA Executive and commercial leaders 

Key accountabilities

  • Following-up of our KPIs and targets 
  • Support in ensuring good data quality in GEM’s CRM 
  • Building, analysing and sharing key business insights on the teams’ performance 
  • Contributing to sectorial analysis of GEM’s business with our Partners 
  • Support in the pipeline review process with all AXA entities with the objective to bring additional pipeline 
  • Contributing on other transversal missions when necessary (Strategic review, C-level presentations etc.)
  • Collecting, updating and analysing of our GWP with Partners across the Group (for all entities and lines of business)

The Business Analyst will work closely with the Business & Strategy Team and will also collaborate with many people within AXA Group: 

In the Global Enterprise and Management team:

  • Deal steering Leader 
  • Commercial Account leaders 
  • Regional Leaders 

In local entities:

  • Account managers 
  • Business analysts 

In Group / Markets departments:

  • Risk Management 
  • Operations: Technology, Data, Transformation and Innovation 
  • Finance

Qualifications

Background and experience

  • Student in Business or equivalent 
  • Experience working in a multicultural environment and managing relationships with various stakeholders 
  • Knowledge of the insurance business would be a plus 

Technical Skills & Competencies

  • Rigorous: ability to provide financial reporting for the top management 
  • Good proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Knowledge of CRM/Salesforce is a plus 
  • Ability to challenge data quality and spot inconsistency 
  • Great analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities 
  • Fluent in English/French mandatory

  • Strong communications skills, able to present complex ideas clearly and concisely, and able to persuade and obtain the buy-in of a diverse and multicultural audience.
