This role offers an immersive experience in the European and American small and mid-cap private equity fund sector, as well as the opportunity to work on co-investments with leading fund managers.Here’s what you’ll be doing in the role…

  • Assist in the full due diligence process and presentation of potential investments
  • Contribute to ongoing market mapping efforts and identify new investment opportunities
  • Monitor and support the management of our growing portfolio of fund investments and co-investments
  • Gain exposure to legal documentation, including LPAs, side letters, and subscription documents
  • Maintain and improve our CRM platform
  • Participate in various ad hoc projects

RequirementsWe are seeking highly motivated candidates to join our Ghent (Eke) office for a period of 6 months, starting either in January or July. We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds, but prior internship experience in the following areas is a plus:

  • Direct investment firms (private equity, growth equity, or venture capital)
  • Investment banking or management consulting, with a strong understanding of the private equity landscape and a demonstrable interest in the sector
  • Fund-of-funds, placement agents, or other private market investors

Whatever your prior experience, we’re looking for a passionate individual and evidence of your ability to work diligently and make things happen.In addition, the right soft skills are critical for this role. The successful candidate will have the following attributes:

  • Entrepreneurial, “can do” attitude
  • Comfortable working with a high level of autonomy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
  • Skilled at building new relationships
  • Highly curious and eager to learn
  • Ability to develop and defend convictions
  • Fluent English (oral and written), Dutch is a plus
