Job description
Our client in Dublin is seeking an experienced IT Analyst with a strong background in HR and Finance projects. This role will be pivotal in the spinoff project aimed at divesting the EDS business from the parent company to a new entity. The position requires a hands-on IT Analyst to support the Legal and HR application portfolio and facilitate the transition. The role involves managing a large portfolio of applications, ensuring logical separation, new stand-ups, and cloning to enable a seamless transition to two independent companies.Responsibilities:
- Provide IT solutions and support for Human Resources and Legal applications.
- Lead and assist in the separation, migration, and cloning of applications as part of the business divestiture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, document, and implement IT strategies for the transition.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Facilitate workshops and discussions with business leaders and IT teams.
- Ensure compliance with IT governance, security, and best practices during the transition.
- Handle multiple projects in a high-intensity environment, ensuring deadlines are met.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, MIS, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in an IT department within a multinational environment.
- Proven experience providing IT solutions for Human Resources and/or Legal applications.
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and analytical skills.
- Excellent collaboration and facilitation skills with the ability to engage business leaders effectively.
- Ability to think strategically and demonstrate intellectual curiosity, with a strong focus on achieving outcomes.
- Experience in workshop facilitation with both small and large groups.
- Strong ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and operate within a matrixed IT environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, multi-project environment while effectively multitasking.
