Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for an IT Architect / RTE for Conformity & Attestation (f/m) to join our Configuration Management Product Service Line (DPC) department based in Toulouse, France. 

You will be part of a team responsible for all configuration management activities, particularly Conformity & Attestation, vital for aircraft deliveries. You’ll be part of a collaborative team environment fostering growth and development for all members.

This role is within IM’s Configuration Management PSL (CM PSL), dedicated to providing top-notch IT tools to secure configuration management operations and enhance performance. Configuration Management is crucial for Airbus’s transformation under the DDMS program, ensuring consistency and enabling digital continuity.

Your challenges: 

As an IT Architect for Conformity & Attestation (C&A):

  • Provide vision and direction for future IT products and services.
  • Collaborate with C&A Architecture team and System Architect to define solution models and guide decisions.
  • Engage with development teams to deliver high-quality solutions using advanced technologies.
  • Participate in all phases of application development lifecycle.
  • Align architecture strategy with organization’s business goals and long-term strategic planning for Information systems.

As an RTE on the Conformity & Attestation Agile Release Train (ART):

  • Facilitate Conformity & Attestation ART processes and execution.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Manager, IM Product Manager, and System Architect.
  • Define and manage projects roadmap and deployment within allocated budget.
  • Organize ART ceremonies in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring accurate prioritization.
  • Administer ART backlog and ensure proper implementation within ART teams.
  • Coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement and implement quality management practices.
  • Foster collaboration within teams and with business partners.
  • Synchronize with Configuration Management Large Solution and ARP program.
  • Foster Communities of Practice and support innovation cycle.
  • Manage risks, dependencies, and escalate impediments.
  • Support IM PM in budget and Supply Chain management.

Applications used: Mainly SAP (PAC, PEA, PDA, PGI), MySI, and other tools like MOPO, MyPortfolio, Servicenow, VersionOne, PLM Info Center, DP Dashboard, etc.

This role requires awareness of compliance risks and a commitment to acting with integrity, ensuring the Company’s success, reputation, and sustainable growth.

Your boarding pass: 

  • Strong collaboration skills
  • IT architecture experience
  • Proficiency in SAP, specifically PAC, CAIR, and AIR
  • Familiarity with Airbus tools such as APS, PDM tools, and ARP
  • Experience in Configuration Management, Conformity, Attestation, Traceability, Special Instruction, and CA Reallocation domains
  • Demonstrated leadership and soft skills
  • Excellent communication skills, adept at tailoring messages for various audiences and motivating team members effectively
  • Project management expertise, familiarity with Safe methodology
  • Experience as a Scrum Master (3-5 years) or certified RTE with proven experience (1-3 years) preferred
  • Fluency in French and English required, German proficiency appreciated
  • Ability to perform under pressure

Salary range:

Salary range based on the required profile: 50 to 55K€/year (including a variable part based on your performance). Information provided as an indication.
