IT ARCHITECT

Responsibilities:
-Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with clients to gather and understand business and technical requirements for IT projects within pharmaceutical settings.
-Architectural Design: Develop robust IT architectures and create roadmaps that align with client objectives, incorporating both software and hardware components.
-Component Identification: Identify and specify all necessary components required to construct the proposed architecture, ensuring compatibility and functionality.
-Cost Estimation: Assist in estimating project costs, considering various factors such as equipment, software licenses, and labor.
-Topology Drafting: Create detailed topologies of existing and conceptual landscapes, providing clear visual representations of proposed solutions.
-Deployment Support: Lead a team in deploying the architecture, ensuring successful implementation while adhering to project timelines and budget constraints.
-Compliance and Validation: Collaborate with validation teams to ensure automation systems comply with regulatory requirements, GMP guidelines, and industry standards such as GAMP.
-Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers to evaluate, select, and integrate solutions that align with project requirements and architectural guidelines.
-Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and efficiency improvements within IT architectures, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
-Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks associated with IT architectures, including cybersecurity threats, data breaches, and system vulnerabilities, to protect organizational assets and reputation.
-Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders at various levels, including clients, project sponsors, and executive leadership, to ensure alignment of IT solutions with business goals and strategic objectives.

Requirements for this position:

Hard skills:

-You have at least 5 years of IT experience, with at least 2 years spent in a pharmaceutical environment, contributing as a team member for project execution
-You have in-depth knowledge of IT components and technologies essential for architecting comprehensive solutions
-You possess high-level knowledge of automation systems, including but not limited to SCADA, DCS, PLC, MES, Historians, and related technologies
-You understand the architecture of automation systems, including system integration, data flow, network communication protocols, and hardware/software interfaces
-You recognize the criticality of automation systems within pharmaceutical environments, understanding their pivotal role in ensuring operational efficiency, product quality, and regulatory compliance
-You have proficiency in GAMP (Good Automated Manufacturing Practice) practices, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations
Soft skills:

-You have exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to various stakeholders
-You are capable of presenting and defending solution scopes to clients and project stakeholders
-You are a strong team player with proven leadership capabilities, able to lead teams of engineers in both project and technical capacities
-You are fluent in English
