This company is a dynamic and innovative organization with a team of around 500 engaged colleagues, driving digital transformation in the insurance industry.They are looking for a Functional Analyst with a Developer background to challenge the teams technically and support them in change, creation, and product optimization.As a Functional Analyst, your main responsibilities will include translating complex business requirements into functional solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring high-quality implementation through thorough documentation and testing. Your role in detail:🔹 Translate Requirements

• Convert complex business needs into clear, functional features.
• Validate these features with various stakeholders (business users, technical teams, and architects) to ensure alignment.
• Assist IT testers in creating and executing test cases.
• Bridge the gap between business and development by preparing user stories and functional analysis that enable smooth implementation.

🔹 Document & Deliver

• Maintain clear documentation (features, stories, and analysis) using tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Communicate transparently during sprint planning, demos, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to product quality by actively participating in sprint demos, reviews, and end-to-end testing.

Position of a Functional AnalystHave visible impact on the organizationWhat do you need to succeed?
✔️ Minimum 5 years of experience in business and/or functional analysis and a previous background as a Developer.
✔️ Fluent in Dutch/English or French/English.
✔️ Familiarity with the insurance or banking sector and knowledge of front-end technologies such as Java, .NET, HTML, CSS, SQL, JavaScript, AS400, etc.
✔️ Experience with tools like Mermaid and working in Agile/Scrum environments.
✔️ Strong analytical skills and a results-driven mindset.
✔️ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
