Our client’s Real Estate Digital team has an opening for a consultant to work with clients in the rapidly growing SMART building sector. In this role, you will help develop and implement organizational strategies and advanced technologies into the built environment.Main ResponsibilitiesOur client seeking bright, talented, and motivated technical consultants to work on large-scale, complex technology projects. As a technology consultant, you will:

• Provide support on major IT Program and Commercial Management Commissions
• Take responsibility for all aspects of technology service delivery
• Ensure client objectives are met and projects are delivered on schedule and within cost targets
• Work in partnership with clients to advise on how technology can overcome business challenges
• Engage with stakeholders to manage design and coordination within the construction program
• Drive the technology vision within the design team
• Develop strategy, create specifications, and develop cost models
• Have a good understanding of the commercial property sector and focus on user experience

Key Accountabilities

• Supporting clients with vision and strategy development
• Interfacing with clients and other consultants at all project stages
• Establishing project success criteria
• Identifying and addressing quality, safety, health, and environment issues
• Establishing effective project governance and processes
• Leading cross-functional project teams
• Managing project information flow
• Monitoring project finances
• Understanding IT procurement in a construction environment
• Schedule management of IT and related installations
• Identifying and qualifying new business opportunities

Essential

• Proven experience as a project manager delivering integrated technology solutions
• Ability to work across various technical disciplines and understand IT functions
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts effectively
• Familiarity with APM Body of Knowledge
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• One or more qualifications/certifications such as APM Project Management or Prince2 Project Management

Desirable

• Experience with smart building and IoT systems
• Knowledge of technical capabilities and commercial property sector
• Experience in bid writing and presenting ideas
• Understanding of RIBA plan of work
• Security clearance (desirable)
