  • Minimum 3 years of experience in developing and implementing technological projects in Financial Markets.
  • Good knowledge of financial products in general, and business lines of business for Global Markets, GTB and/or IB&F.
  • Experience in defining, developing, and implementing IT projects, KPI’s and reporting of the same.
  • General knowledge, although not detailed, of other financial market platforms such as Murex, Calypso, etc.
  • Experience working within SCRUM teams and in AGILE project execution models.

Languages:

  • Fluent and agile communication skills in English, both spoken and written (ideally C1 at least).

Soft-skills:

  • High-level competencies in Initiative, Involvement, Innovation, Results Orientation, Customer Service, and Teamwork.

OverviewIT Project Manager UK and CEAs the Project Manager of Solutions Development for Uk and CE, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, coordinating, planification, testing, and implementing projects for specialized Financial Markets. Join the Engineering CIB UK and Continental Europe team, present in 4 countries, supporting the diverse growth plans in the region (both CIB and BEC).The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Managing engineering projects in the UK/CE area.
  • Assisting in the Prioritization, Definition, Follow up, Reporting, Execution and implementation of strategic plans for BBVA UK&CE.
  • Gathering and interpreting Business requirements, defining high-level functional and technical designs in the Investment
  • Banking domain with advanced knowledge of products and processes.
  • Governance of the project production cycle in a financial markets software development and implementation process.
  • Primary contact with internal clients.
  • Coordination of IT projects with other involved areas in BBVA.

Projects:

  • Definition, selection, coordination and implementation of technology solutions and functional projects with multi-entity, multi-geography, and multi-product coverage.
  • Using project management tools to track project performance and schedule adherence.
  • Conducting risk assessments for project.
  • Organizing meetings to discuss project goals and progress.
