IT Security Engineer – Linux & Windows
Location: Flexible (50% on-site, 50% remote)
Languages Required: Dutch (Good), French (Good), English (Excellent)
Experience: 7 years in IT Security
Education: Master’s degree or equivalent experience
About the Role:
Join the IT Security Team, where you’ll be managing security across both Linux and Windows environments. You’ll focus on securing identity management systems (Red Hat IdM, Active Directory, OpenLDAP) while handling everything from security monitoring to incident response.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and support security tools and solutions for Linux and Windows systems, including Red Hat IdM, OpenLDAP, Active Directory, and Microsoft Identity Manager.
* Harden Linux OS (Red Hat, AIX, etc.) and ensure security best practices are followed.
* Analyze and respond to security events and vulnerabilities across both Linux and Windows environments.
* Work closely with teams in Paris to migrate assets to the group’s cloud infrastructure.
* Contribute to audits, risk management, and vulnerability management efforts.
* Provide third-line security support and incident response for authentication, authorisation, and security issues.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience with Red Hat IdM, Linux security, and OpenLDAP.
* Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Windows Integrated Security, and IAM solutions.
* Solid scripting skills in Bash and PowerShell.
* Familiarity with security monitoring tools like Splunk, Elasticsearch, or Dynatrace.
* Experience with anti-malware/EDR solutions (e.g., Trellix, Tanium).
* Experience in large company environments (banking sector experience is a plus).
* Basic networking knowledge and understanding of security principles.
