This role is responsible for discovering existing vulnerabilities, determining the severity of those vulnerabilities, and developing plans for remediation. The person will compile and track the vulnerabilities and remediation efforts to quantify program effectiveness.  They create and maintain the vulnerability management policies, standards, and procedures and work closely with suppliers and IT personnel to manage an effective program. They also manage the tools and scanning services necessary to complete this function.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

-Planning, implementing, managing, monitoring, and upgrading vulnerability scanning applications and services to identify and prioritize discovered vulnerabilities in a variety of IT assets, including Network devices, Operating System, Applications, Operating Technology, & Cloud  Infrastructure configuration. 

-Manage the remediation and vulnerability mitigation process which involves analyzing the thousands of technical issues, prioritizing the issues based on the type of vulnerability, ease of exploitation, threat intelligence on real world use, and exposure and criticality of the assets within the Molson Coors enterprise network. 

-Report on the vulnerability management program’s effectiveness on a monthly bases to Senior IT Management with some reporting elements reaching Executive Leadership Team and Audit Committee members. The day-to-day reporting requirements require data management skills to accurately summarize significant data amounts and tell the story of effectiveness to the vulnerability management process and the current vulnerability risk posture of IT systems.  

-Create and maintain vulnerability management process documentation including the Vulnerability Management standard and associated processes for remediation or exception to the standard as the subject matter expert. This standard is reviewed and approved by security and senior IT management.

SKILLS & RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE

-4-6 years working experience in information technology including 1-2 yrs. security experience.

-Experience in security considerations of hardware deployment and software development including: vulnerability testing, system risk analysis, regulatory compliance, and data classification.

-Good collaboration and work with IT managed suppliers, IT technical architects

-Ability to understand a large amount of IT systems.
-Strong communication of technical issues while understanding business impact of IT systems and significant individual judgement on assessing risk.
-Detail oriented approach that keeps processes in line with industry best practices, while also defines a key risk management capability with IT environment.
 

Preferred:

-5-7 years working experience in information technology including 3-5 yrs. security experience.

-Experience defining and implementing security risk analysis solutions, vulnerability scanning and analysis policies and technologies.

Knowledge 

-Good multi-platform knowledge, e.g. Windows, Linux, MacOS, Android, Cloud (AWS/ Azure) etc.
