We are looking for a junior environmental professional to join our expanding EHS team.Our Manufacturing site in Hillerød, Denmark, brings together a broad range of expertise, capabilities and technologies to manufacture advanced biologics. To support this, we are a set team of Environmental and Health & Safety professionals where strong collaboration and engagement is thriving across the areas of expertise.About the role
The EHS team has a pivotal role at the FDBD site in promoting our EHS culture and supporting the entire organization in both compliance and continuous improvements.In a new role as junior environmental professional, your focus will be on how our facility can improve especially on waste management. You will be analyzing waste streams from the sourcing of raw materials through the production processes and until the disposal or re-purpose of the materials. Following will be to identify the areas to reduce waste and finally implement and manage the solutions across our growing site.Another task will be to support our processes on reporting including being part of the creation and execution of standards related to CSRD. Occasional will you develop and drive smaller improvement processes on either technical solution, reporting or data crunching and displaying.Your primary contact will be our existing environmental specialist but collaboration across many areas can be expected: In all your tasks you will work with stakeholders across the organization- sometimes as driver and sometimes as participants. It is therefore essential that you have a curious mind and the desire to engage with different colleagues.Your primary tasks will be
- Waste management in collaboration with the waste company, our facility department, and operational workers.
- Reporting and data gathering related to CSRD, our environmental management system, EcoVadis and other reporting requirements.
- Participating/driving improvement project of various kinds.
- General tasks within the environmental field.
- Engage with the rest of the EHS team in the execution of cross functional task.
Qualifications
We are looking for a colleague, who holds a bachelor in an environmental area and possibly 1-2 years of experience. You have the desire and enthusiasm to develop as a specialist within environment in production. We imagine that additionally you have the following background and skills sets:
- some experience around waste management and environmental reporting.
- good skills with excel preferably pivot tables.
- insight in process industry or pharmaceutical industry is an advantage.
- good communication skills and the desire to engage with stakeholder across the organization.
- fluency in English is a must as English is the corporate language. Proficiency in Danish is an absolute advantage.
