This is an excellent opportunity for individuals at the beginning of their IT career who have some background in IT support, service desk or helpdesk, and want to transition into network security and secure connectivity services.Short descriptionAs a Junior Network Security Analyst, you will support the implementation and management of secure network connections through firewalls and proxies, ensuring compliance with global security policies. You will also be involved in documenting and validating third-party connectivity, working alongside senior engineers and multiple international teams. This position offers hands-on learning and long-term growth in the field of information and network security.Main duties and responsibilities

• Process firewall and proxy access requests, ensuring they meet internal security standards and compliance requirements;

• Assist in risk assessments for third-party connectivity solutions (e.g. VPN, B2B, RAS);

• Register and validate third-party applications and connectivity in internal databases and registries;

• Support the collection, validation, and documentation of metadata for firewall and proxy rules;

• Review existing connections for ownership, accuracy, and necessity;

• Cooperate with various infrastructure and security teams (Network Engineering, Proxy Ops, Perimeter Security, etc.);

• Help maintain up-to-date technical documentation, network diagrams, and system inventories;

• Participate in internal projects, migrations, or audits as directed by your team or manager.

Required competencies

• Basic understanding of network concepts: TCP/IP, routing, VPN, firewall operations;

• 1–3 years of experience in IT support, service desk, or helpdesk environment;

• Familiarity with firewall and proxy configurations (academic or work-based);

• Experience working with ticketing systems and documentation processes;

• Attention to detail and interest in process-driven, compliant environments;

• Good written and verbal communication in English;

• Eagerness to learn network security and infrastructure tools in a global financial environment.

Desirable competencies

• Exposure to Firewall Administration or Network Management tools;

• Understanding of VPN protocols (IPSec, GRE, GETVPN);

• Familiarity with encryption protocols and secure data transfer methods (FTP, NDM, SFTP);

• Knowledge of IT security frameworks or standards is an advantage;

• Previous experience with scripting, metadata collection or configuration documentation is a plus.
