Hungary – BudapestTech People is a European provider of technical skills permanent recruitment and temporary contracting services for multiple industries.Currently we are looking forKAFKA ADMIN (LJK)Location: Budapest, hybridDaily rate: 80-120.000 HUFType of eployment: contractingPosition OverviewAs an Apache Kafka Administrator, you will play a key role in managing and optimizing our Kafka infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Apache Kafka clusters
- Monitor system performance and implement tuning measures for optimal Kafka performance and reliability
- Perform regular upgrades and patch management to ensure a secure and up-to-date environment
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Kafka infrastructure in a timely and efficient manner
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements and suggest improvements
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Apache Kafka
- Experience working with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or similar
- Previous experience in the banking or financial services industry is a strong plus
- Experience with tools such as Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams, Schema Registry, and KSQL is highly desirable
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Shell for automation
