Key Account Manager – Renewable Energy | MadridOverviewWe are looking for a highly driven professional to lead key account management efforts in the renewable energy sector. This role focuses on expanding business opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and ensuring seamless project execution.Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement account strategies to maximize value from key partners in the industry.
- Maintain and grow relationships with decision-makers, ensuring long-term partnerships.
- Identify and pursue additional business opportunities within existing accounts.
- Work closely with internal teams (sales, engineering, and project management) to ensure smooth execution of solutions.
- Stay ahead of market trends and competitive developments to inform business decisions.
- Conduct regular reviews with clients to assess satisfaction and explore areas for improvement.
- Drive commercial negotiations, prepare proposals, and oversee contract closures.
- Analyze sales performance and customer engagement, implementing improvements when needed.
- Act as the main contact for key accounts, addressing their needs efficiently.
- Support marketing efforts by contributing to customized campaigns and outreach strategies.
- Represent the company at relevant events, expanding professional networks and market presence.
Qualifications & Skills
- Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- Over a decade of experience managing key accounts or commercial operations in renewable energy.
- Strong understanding of the sector, particularly solar, wind, and emerging technologies.
- Proven success in achieving revenue targets and driving business expansion.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to grasp technical details of renewable energy solutions and communicate them effectively.
- Self-starter with a results-driven mindset, capable of working independently and collaboratively.
- Strategic problem-solver, adept at navigating complex commercial scenarios.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events as needed.
