Knowledge Specialist Horticulture – GrodanEnsuring and disseminating up-to-date technical knowledge in high-tech greenhouse horticulture? In this new role as knowledge specialist horticulture in Roermond, you will structure, develop, and share knowledge. Both within the company and with partners. Then read on!What does this role involve?Grodan is growing. The competitive pressure is increasing. Time for a strategic approach to knowledge management. As a knowledge specialist horticulture, you will build and structure knowledge to ensure that internal teams and commercial partners are always up to date. Your focus? Elevating the knowledge level of internal teams (sales, crop specialists, technical advisors) to create a uniform foundation.You will develop robust internal crop technical training programs for teams such as sales and crop specialists, ensuring they always have the right knowledge. Additionally, you will build and manage an internal knowledge library, providing quick access to relevant and up-to-date technical information.You will also coordinate projects related to knowledge management and transfer. The projects? Collaborations with external knowledge institutions and the development of new knowledge strategies. Exploring and implementing innovative digital tools? That’s your responsibility, making knowledge sharing even more effective. Furthermore, you will support the customer helpdesk with clear, accessible self-help documentation. And build relationships with key stakeholders inside and outside Grodan. - You will be directly employed by Grodan in Roermond.
- This is a position of at least 32 hours per week.
- You will receive an attractive gross monthly salary of up to €6,088 (based on 40 hours, depending on your knowledge and experience). (In this role, you can grow to a salary of €7,521.)
- Plus, an 8.33% holiday allowance and a 13th-month salary.
- A collective pension plan, with Grodan covering two-thirds of the contributions.
- You will receive 25 regular vacation days, plus an additional 13 ATV days, ensuring plenty of time to unwind. On top of that, another 13 ATV days will be added to your pension.

What do you bring?
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in plant sciences, agronomy, horticulture, or a related field.
- Experience in training, education, or knowledge management within greenhouse horticulture.
- Strong relationship management skills, both internally and externally. Along with excellent communication and presentation skills. You speak fluent English.
- You have a proactive and results-driven mindset, capable of thinking strategically while also rolling up your sleeves to get things done.
- Excellent organizational and coordination skills for managing projects and knowledge flows. You can navigate the boardroom and ensure the right information reaches the right people at the right time.
