Job description

• Develop, configure, and deploy API gateway solutions using Kong within the organisation’s infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable API integrations.
• Monitor and maintain the performance of API gateways to ensure seamless data flow and reliability.
• Identify and resolve technical issues related to API management and integration.
• Optimise API performance through tuning and efficient configuration.
• Ensure compliance with security protocols and standards for API operations.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for API gateway setups and configurations.
• Provide technical support and expertise to internal teams on API-related queries.

Contract of employmentRemote work from Wrocław (2 days from the office, 3 days remote)A successful Kong Engineer should have:

• Hands-on experience with Kong API gateway or similar API management tools.
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages commonly used for API development.
• Knowledge of industry-standard security practices for API management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in technical implementations.
• Excellent ability to collaborate with technology teams in a structured, professional environment.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerisation technologies is advantageous.
