Our Tax Technology team is a hub of diverse expertise, featuring UI specialists, front-end and back-end developers, cloud architects, product owners, project managers, and data, automation and AI leads. We leverage low-code tools, pro-code software development, advanced data analytics, and AI to challenge conventional methods and redefine the future of tax services.As a Junior Project Manager, you will join our vibrant Nordic Tax & Legal Technology team, working alongside experienced professionals to drive the success of technology projects for both our business and clients. Your role will involve supporting the planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects, ensuring they meet our high standards for quality, scope, and timeliness. Collaborating with senior project managers, technical teams, and business stakeholders, you will contribute to innovative solutions tailored to the unique needs of our Nordic business.Your Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and management of project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or issues, escalating as necessary.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including status reports, meeting minutes, and action items.
- Participate in meetings and presentations, providing updates on project status and addressing any concerns.
- Support the review and approval process for technology solutions to ensure compliance with KPMG standards.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the project management team.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in project management or a related role, preferably in a technology or consulting environment.
- Basic understanding of project management methodologies.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow within the role.
