Job Purpose
Purpose of the job is to ensure that customer analyses are carried out on time, accurately and regularly, and to share the results with the customer.
Job Responsibilities
-To ensure that the probes of the potentiometer, pH/ion meter and pH meter devices are maintained weekly,
-Preparing auxiliary solutions used in analyses.
-To dispose of the remaining sample solutions after analysis into a suitable waste collection tank and to allow reuse by cleaning the sample containers.
-Performing coating thickness measurements using X-Ray and Couloscope devices and interpreting the results.
-Performing solution analyses using Atomic Absorption Spectrometer and interpreting the results.
-Performing NSS analysis and interpreting the results.
-Perfoming solution analyses with a potentiometer (Metrohm Ti-Touch 916) device and interpreting the results.
-Performing solution analyses with the tensiometer (SITA Dynotester) device and interpreting the results.
-Performing solution analyses using pH/ion meter (Metrohm 781 pH/ion) device and interpreting the results.
-Performing solution analyses using the oven device and interpreting the results.
-Performing solution analyses using the UV spectrophotometer device and interpreting the results.
-Dealing with the laboratory personnel sent by the customer and providing the necessary information about the laboratory, analyses and other matters.
-Filling out the analysis follow-up form, collecting data and forwarding it to the relevant unit.
-Conducting studies and research to improve laboratory working conditions.
-Acting in accordance with occupational health and safety rules in the laboratory and ensuring compliance
Requirements & Qualifications
-2+ years of Laboratory experiences,
-Effective verbal and written communication skills,
-Using computers and software to carry out lab tasks
-To be thorough and pay attention to detail
-Inserting data gathered from tests into reports or ongoing records
Education
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Chemistry or Relevant industry
