If so, come and join the largest and most strategic IT and business programme in DFDS, where we are looking for a new colleague in the role as Lead Functional Solution Architect.With the ongoing ERP transformation and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365F&O), DFDS is on a digital transformation journey across Finance and Procurement. Replacing all current ERP solutions with D365F&O across more than 20 markets and +100 legal entities is a key part of our ambition towards becoming a more digitized and standardized operator.To continue our work towards achieving our goals, we are looking for an ambitious Lead Functional Solution Architect to join the Atlas Programme, our ERP Programme team. The Atlas Programme consists of five delivery teams, working in a multinational, inclusive and diverse team, having members across different countries such as Denmark, Poland, Türkiye and India.Join the movement – and play your part.About the roleIn the role as a Lead Functional Solution Architect, you will be responsible for advising on solutions and suggest solution designs in adherence with our architectural principles – both in relation to implementations of D365F&O in new legal entities as well as implementing improvements in the entities that have already gone live with D365F&O.Moreover, you will be included in our Architecture Community, where you will get the opportunity to contribute to the future DFDS ERP target architecture that is critical for our global digitalization strategy. You will also get the opportunity to build on your knowledge and learn from other skilled colleagues.At DFDS, we are utilizing the whole Microsoft stack of products and technologies connected to D365F&O to the extent possible and in a growing variety of ways. The system landscape is complex with many integrations between D365F&O and operational systems.Main responsibilities:

  • Provide critical guidance and support throughout the whole project life cycle from project kick-off until post implementation
  • Oversee and support Functional Consultants and Technical colleagues in tailoring the D365F&O application to meet business requirements via configuration of the applications available. This also includes ISV solutions in scope, integrations with 3rd party applications via Azure, taking security in mind, while minimizing the level of customization and technical debt in best feasible way
  • Take the lead in workshops related to scoping and designing comprehensive solutions that meet the business requirements including understanding of the business process and the as-is states
  • Work closely with our ERP Lead Solution Architect to ensure that the designed and implemented solutions are scalable and aligned with target architecture and business strategy
  • Work closely with various stakeholders, including Business Leaders, IT teams, and end-users, to ensure that the solutions align with business goals, and end-user requirements.

The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver, with a good holistic overview and a solid toolbox. You are driven by challenges and ambitious about the work you deliver.It is expected that you are curious and want to challenge the status quo. You are structured and able to manage your own time while providing guidance according to critical priorities. We value that you are an excellent communicator, with proven experience in interacting with senior stakeholders in the organization.To succeed in your new role, you will need to:

  • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience working with D365F&O within the process areas of Finance, Procurement and Sales in a global organization.
  • Have a deep understanding of business processes and best practices, including the ability to challenge and design/implement optimized processes to benefit the business.
  • Have a proven track record of implementing D365F&O and experience in building and implementing integrations related to the application.
  • Have experience with complex problem-solving, root cause analysis, delivering insights and providing recommendations.
  • Have a structured peer-review of design documents etc. provided by Functional Consultants, Technical colleagues and/or business stakeholders.
  • You might have a background in consulting, or at least experience with acting as an advisor and leading/facilitating the discussions.

  • You are used to thinking outside the box and can bring innovative solutions that cater both for optimizing the business processes to fit to standard, the boundaries of the standard application and consideration to the security aspect.
  • You are used to making design documentation of your ideas, illustrating, and arguing for your chosen design approach.
  • You have experience with agile projects or being part of cross-functional teams across multiple locations.
  • You have excellent communication skills and the ability to discuss and collaborate with colleagues from different business units and backgrounds.
  • You have a strong English proficiency, both in writing and orally.
  • You are curious about learning new functionalities, developing your skills, and staying up to date with new releases from Microsoft and other external business partners.
  • You take pride in your work and deliver the best possible service to your stakeholders in the organization.
