The role can be based in multiple locations across EHC.You will lead a team of IT Project Managers to ensure high quality delivery of IT projects (software delivery) within IPF on time and within budget. Working in partnership with business and IT colleagues across UK, all Markets and external vendors (as required) to contribute to the successful delivery of both strategic change and BAU Projects.Your day-to-day activities are likely to include the following:

  • You will ensure optimal mobilisation of required projects and the application of relevant structures and methodologies to ensure their successful delivery,
  • You will continue to explore and utilise innovative technologies & methodologies to ensure project delivery to the highest standard,
  • You will lead a team of IT Project Managers ensuring appropriate resource is mobilised, inspiring high performance, delivery and ensuring a successful outcome,
  • You will support in the delivery of software development projects, contributing to both strategy and growth,
  • You will support delivery of change across our international markets within the Home Credit Division,
  • You will carry out high level capacity planning for IT Delivery teams across a 12-month view identifying potential clashes and impacts,
  • You will assure successful and timely delivery of IT projects and large-scale change initiatives and ensure Project Management processes are continually developed to improve project delivery,
  • You will provide experience on Scrum and Agile software deliveries,

  • You will ensure effective communication to key stakeholders (business groups, management, and senior directors) about project status, RAID and progression,
  • You will provide regular project progress updates to be shared across IT Delivery,
  • You will obtain guidance and approval as required to advance activities and resolve issues,
  • You will support co-ordination activities with in-country IT and business teams to prepare them and their users for change,
  • You will assist in securing funding for projects and manage project budgets,
  • You will assist in performing cost benefit analysis for project proposals,
  • You will seek cost effective solutions to problems,
  • You will coach, support and professionally develop IT Project Managers.

What are we looking for?

  • Proven track record of project management of multiple projects: including delivering agile software development projects, delivery of IT projects (development and integration). Demonstrable experience of working with third party suppliers and managing teams of project managers across different locations,
  • Technical expertise: proficient in project management principles and best practices, extensive knowledge of agile delivery methodologies and tools. Strong understanding of core IT systems and delivery of IT projects as well as ideally have worked within IT project delivery in a multi-cultural matrix-oriented environment,
  • Collaborative mindset with strong stakeholder engagement skills: Proven ability to collaborate effectively and ability to manage stakeholder needs in line with project requirements, possessing the skills to flex your style accordingly,
  • Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in the appropriate discipline. Ideally hold an appropriate project management certification (PMI, PRINCE2, APMG, IPMA).
