Pharma Sector and High-Purity Production SitesBarré (Wavre) is looking for a Clean Piping and Mechanical Project Manager Engineer to manage the construction of clean piping networks, high-quality machines and equipment for the biopharmaceutical industry (vaccine production) and for other high-purity production sites (cosmetics, nuclear medicine, animal medicine, data centers, semiconductors, among others).The companyBarré (Wavre) specialises in high-quality mechanical engineering. We design, produce, install and maintain in 3 sectors:

  • Clean Piping (high-quality, high-purity clean piping networks).
  • Air Processing (filtration and air treatment solutions; hoods, pass boxes, biosafety cabinets, laminar flow, RABs; for the most regulated vaccine production areas)
  • Design and manufacture of custom-made stainless-steel machines, equipment and special parts for our customers’ production sites.

Barré is in full development and growth, nominated for the Trends Gazelles of Walloon Brabant 2025. We are looking for Project Managers who are passionate about mechanics and multidisciplinary project management.The project

  • As a Project Manager, you will manage various of the company’s tasks (engineering, production, installation, commissioning). This is in our different types of activities.
  • Your role is key to Barré S.A.’s strategic growth plan.
  • The activities are located on the company’s site, between the production workshop and the offices, and at the customers’ premises (production sites).

Your mission

  • Management and maintenance of technical and commercial contacts at customers’ premises
  • Analysis/definition of specifications for your projects
  • Commercial and technical contacts with our suppliers
  • Preparation of technical and commercial offers
  • Project management (planning, resources, communication, suppliers, customers)
  • Internal collaboration with Technical Departments, Quality, Technical Designers, Purchasing, among others
  • Preparation of production documents
  • Production monitoring in the workshop and on site
  • Tracking technical documentation
  • FAT, SAT, commissioning
  • Drafting of technical files for projects

Your profile

  • Civil, Electromechanical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineer, or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience)
  • Experience in high-purity sectors (Biopharma, Biotech, Cosmetic, Nuclear Medicine, etc.)
  • Project management experience from A to Z (from the analysis/definition of the specifications, to the Site Acceptance Test)
  • Knowledge of mechanical-technical environments with ISO9001-based quality requirements, and VCA-based EHS requirements
  • Ability to integrate/work in a team/communicate
  • Mastery of office automation tools
  • Knowledge of languages: French and English; Dutch is a plus
