We are currently working with a leading healthcare provider to recruit an experienced and dynamic Clinical Lead to oversee ultrasound services across multiple sites in Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior-level Sonographer to step into a leadership role!The Role:As Lead Sonographer, you will play a pivotal role in managing day-to-day clinical operations while maintaining the highest standards of diagnostic imaging and patient care. You’ll lead a dedicated team of sonographers, contribute to service development, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure excellence in clinical delivery.Key Responsibilities:Perform independent diagnostic ultrasound examinationsOversee daily department operations, workflow, and schedulingSupport and mentor sonographers, providing training and performance reviewsEnsure equipment functionality, maintenance, and troubleshootingCoordinate with reporting radiologists to ensure seamless serviceUphold clinical governance, best practices, and policy complianceIdentify growth opportunities and support service expansionParticipate in recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planningRequirements:BSc in Diagnostic Radiography (or equivalent)CORU registration (essential)4–6+ years post-qualification experience in UltrasoundMSc in Diagnostic Ultrasound desirable, but not essentialFor more information please contact Sinead Brennan at FRS Recruitment or Apply Below!
