The team works in a dynamic and international environment and is creating strong relationship with most of Avio Aero sections (within and beyond Engineering), with other companies (acting as partner or suppliers) and with Government organizations.
The Through Life Support Engineer (TLSE) will define the optimized approach to plan and develop support for engines and/or components, in order to ensure the maximum availability and the minimum costs throughout entire lifecycle of the product, with a moderate autonomy in the role, guided by professional practices and policies.Job DescriptionEssential ResponsibilitiesDefine maintainability needs and connect with engineering organizations (from design to In Service teams) to guarantee application and evolution of the maintenance planning (preventive, predictive and corrective tasks)Support fleet modeling to identify spare parts needs along the entire engine lifecycleDefine needs of Support and test equipment with particular attention to Packaging, handling, storage and transportation for most important itemsIdentify Manpower and personnel needs for the different maintenance basesDefine needs of Training for operators and Technical publicationsParticipate in cross functional team as part of lean events for service contracts productivity enhancementQualifications/RequirementsMaster’s degree in engineering from an accredited university or collegeGood interpersonal, leadership, and communication skillsClear thinking and diligent approachDemonstrated ability to lead programs / projectsAbility to document, plan, market, and execute programsAvailability to business travelFluency in English and ItalianWork Visa in accordance with local regulation, is requiredDesired CharacteristicsProven experience in Aerospace military In Service businessStrong influencing skills in a global environmentStrong oral and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal and leadership skillsDemonstrated ability to analyze and solve problemsEstablished project management skillsWhat we offerSmart working and work life-balanceAvio Aero, when possible, promotes smart work in hybrid mode, and encourages a good, healthy and satisfying work-life balance.
