The energy transition is rapidly gaining momentum. To deal with tomorrow’s energy challenges, we are looking for a Leading / Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our Offshore Wind Energy Team. We are approx. 175 motivated colleagues in Europe working alongside clients on some of the world’s most innovative offshore wind projects, such as Empire Wind (North America), St. Nazaire (France), Nordlicht (Germany), Choshi, Akita North and Yurihonjo, Katagami (Japan).Your key responsibilities:
- Offering geotechnical knowledge and guidance as a specialist or discipline leader for domestic and international offshore wind initiatives.
- Planning for foundation structures and conducting geotechnical site assessments feeding into foundation design.
- Supporting the development of an innovative geotechnical discipline environment.
- Collaborating with our experts to contribute to internal knowledge development and competence building.
- Ensuring state-of-the-art design practices and technical compliance with standards.
- Coordinating with clients and certification bodies during certification and/or permitting processes.
- Participating in and contributing to internal training, sharing your knowledge with junior colleagues.

- M.Sc.in Geotechnical Engineering (PhD/post-doc a plus).
- 10+ years in offshore wind monopile design (discipline lead experience preferred).
- Well-versed in lab/field testing, data science, and geotechnical regression.
- Proficient in finite element analysis, computational geomechanics, and constitutive modelling.
- Programming(Python/Matlab/C++) and fluency in English & German.
- Structured, decisive, and collaborative across international teams.
