About the roleThis role is advertised at Lecturer level and is a 12-month, fixed term post from 1st October 2025 – 30th September 2026.Applications are invited for a 12-month fixed-term, full-time lectureship in the Department of Geography and Environmental Sciences at Northumbria University. The successful candidate will contribute to a range of teaching and module leadership across the programme (including the foundation year), as well as the two MSc programmes in and .We would particularly encourage applications from candidates with demonstrable experience of teaching sustainable development/geographies of development at undergraduate and postgraduate level, in addition to economic geographies, tutorials and residential field courses at undergraduate level.About the teamThis post is in the , which was in the UK’s 2021 Research Evaluation Framework (REF).
